Creation of a distinguished Advisory Group

We are pleased to announce the appointment of a distinguished advisory group comprising experts at the forefront of their fields. This strategic move underscores Adept Aqua's commitment to leveraging cutting-edge research and innovation to address pressing environmental challenges.

Associate Prof. Mariana Mayer Pinto joins the advisory board bringing extensive expertise in marine ecology and ecological engineering. As a Scientia Senior Lecturer at UNSW,  co-founder of Living Seawalls, and a finalist for the Earthshot Prize in 2021, Assoc. Prof. Mayer Pinto's research integrates theoretical ecology with practical solutions for coastal systems, aligning perfectly with Adept Aqua's mission to enhance aquatic ecosystem health.

Kevin Rassool, renowned for his leadership in mechanical engineering and product innovation at the FREO2 Foundation, brings invaluable experience in developing oxygen technologies aimed at improving healthcare in underserved communities. His expertise in user-centric design and project management will play a pivotal role in advancing Adept Aqua's sustainable technology solutions.

Dr. Scott Needham, a seasoned inventor and technologist, adds significant expertise in intellectual property and innovation strategy to the board. With a track record of managing diverse IP portfolios and leading global investments, Dr. Needham's insights will be instrumental in guiding Adept Aqua's commercialization efforts and technological advancements.

Dr. Brad Evans, an aquaculture specialist with a strong background in research and commercial breeding programs, will contribute his depth of understanding of oxygen in aquaculture and its impact on farm profitability to enhance Adept Aqua's approach to fish health in aquaculture practices.

Tamara Mills, a seasoned executive and venture investor specialising in life sciences and environmental sustainability, will bring her strategic insights and investment expertise to help scale Adept Aqua's impact-driven technologies.

Alex Ogg, a stalwart in marine innovation and sustainable food production, will leverage his extensive experience to advise Adept Aqua on blue economy initiatives and ecosystem stewardship.

Claudette Rechtorik, a conservationist and educator, will contribute her passion for marine conservation and youth education to enhance Adept Aqua's outreach and educational efforts.
